APSAA , IPA , AND CFS SPONSOR “THE INTERSECTION OF GENDER, SEXUALITY, AND OUR CURRENT CRISIS”, FEATURING CLAUDIA RANKINE 8CES/CMES - 4/9-10Claudia Rankine as keynote with interlocutor Francisco Gonzalez, from PINC (San Francisco) who has been prolific in his writing and presenting on race and gender issues. Ms. Rankine is the recipient of the 2016 MacArthur Fellowship and is the author of five collections of poetry, best known of which is Citizen: An American Lyric (Graywolf, 2014) and her recent publication Just Us: An American Conversation (Graywolf, 2020). Rankine's voice is one of unrelenting candor, and her poetry is some of the most innovative and thoughtful work to emerge in recent years. We hope you will join us.
