Presentation Summary: Every psychoanalytic perspective entails a specific model of the mind. This presentation will discuss the main principles and techniques of psychoanalytic field theory and the model of the mind which underlies them. The implications for theory and clinical practice will be explored. 
Objectives: Participants will be able to:
  1. Describe the principles and techniques of psychoanalytic field theory
  2. Described the model of mental functioning entailed by psychoanalytic field theory
  3. Be able to apply 1 and 2 in their clinical practices.
